This type of evaluation includes assessing if anxiety, depression, psychosis, trauma or personality characteristics are negatively affecting the client.  Several self-report measures as well as projective measures that provide information about how a client thinks and feelings about their world are given.  For children, parents also have caregiver reports that assess mood symptoms, bipolar symptoms, and prodromal psychosis.
